July 13, 2022 CalHealthCares focuses on health equity, awards nearly $65M to health care providers to increase Medi-Cal access to care PHC and DHCS today announced the recipients of the fourth cycle of CalHealthCares student loan repayment awards. In this cohort, 222 physicians and 35 dentists will receive $64.9 million to pay off their student loans. These loan repayments were awarded to physicians and dentists who are committed to expanding access to care for Medi-Cal communities. read more
