In support of those efforts, we recently hosted our Health Equity Leadership Summit, September 14-15, 2023, in San Jose. The summit allowed attendees to engage in in-depth conversations about how physicians, executives and advocates can address and promote health equity in California.

Congratulations to new CalHealthCares loan repayment awardees

In collaboration with the California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS), Physicians for a Healthy California (PHC) is excited to announce that the CalHealthCares Loan Repayment Program awarded $73.4 million to support 266 physicians and 36 dentists working to expand access to care for Medi-Cal beneficiaries throughout the state.

Empowering future medical leaders to serve California communities
